As of July 1, 2020, Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. broke through the "shipment of 1 million hydraulic cylinder blocks for excavators" and held an in-house ceremony to commemorate this.
In 2003, the first year of business, it started with sales of 14,000 units per year, and in 2018, it grew about 9 times to 120,000 units per year.
The cylinder block contributed the most to the total sales of Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. One million cylinder blocks means the quantity assembled in 500,000 excavators, and we would like to congratulate our executives and employees that we have been supplying our customers with consistent quality assurance for 17 years since our establishment.
The message from the CEO to the executives and employees at this ceremony is as follows.
First, let's try to achieve the next 1 million unit shipment in a short period of time in 4-5 years. Let's move away from bonding materials and prepare for various forms of cylinder block marketing.
Second, let's make all manufacturing processes, including blocks, "smart factories" so that employees are comfortable and high-quality products are produced.
Thirdly, hydraulic cylinder blocks have been the main product of Dawin Friction Co., Ltd., let's grow the brake business so that friction materials and brake devices can match the sales of hydraulic cylinder blocks.
