In order to export high-speed rail brake pads to the Chinese rail market, product certification must be obtained from the China Railway Certification Center (CRCC), a Chinese railway government agency.
Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. has already obtained a product certificate from CRCC for China's "brake pads for high-speed rail CRH5" in 2017, but the certificate was expired and needed to be renewed.
However, due to the Corona pandemic period, the certification due diligence was not in progress.
As a result of several discussions with the China Railway CRCC, it was decided to undergo a non-face-to-face certification review from September 18 to 22, 2022, and Dawin Friction's high-speed rail brake pad production/development/quality/management overall from CRCC expert examiners. The system has been checked.
If the product certificate is finally renewed and issued through later test evaluation, we will get an opportunity to export brake pads to railway stations in 18 countries in China.
