From July 18 to 21, 2022, Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. participated in the Farnborough Air Show in the UK.
The Air Show, an exhibition hall for aircraft and aircraft parts, is known around the world as Paris and Farnborough, England, as the 1st place and 2nd place.
With the support of Incheon City, we exhibited aircraft wheels and brakes developed by Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. at the Incheon City Joint Exhibition Hall.
Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. has participated in the Paris Air Show 2 times and the Farnborough Air Show 2 times, participating in a total of 4 large-scale international aviation exhibitions in a row, making its name known on the global stage.
At this air show, we achieved the result of signing a long-term supply contract with ADS (Aviation & Defense Spares limited) of the UK for the supply of aircraft parts, and also through meetings with the management of landing gear companies in Canada and Italy, which are the main customers of Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. We have established a close network so that we can participate in new aircraft development projects as well as current projects.
Furthermore, we had a good opportunity to interact with executives of Hyundai Motor Company's UAM division and Hanwha Systems' officials at the exhibition hall regarding UAM (Urban Air Mobility), the future food of the aviation business.
By making full use of the technology, market information and network obtained at the Farnborough Air Show, Dawin Friction Co., Ltd. is ready to spur the export of aircraft wheels & brakes.
